Pachypodium Lealii

The Pachypodium Lealii "Bottle Tree" is native to the southern coast of Africa, Namibia.  This spiny giant can reach heights of 18'.  The captivating, 5 star, white blooms contrast well with the armed branches coming from a swollen base.  This tree goes dormant in the winter and will lose it's leaves, only to fully 'leaf-out' in the early Spring.  They usually bloom late Summer into the Fall.

Tough plant, keep above 50F.

Use a gritty soil amendment with your organic cactus mix.
