Oreocereus Trollii

The Oreocereus Trollii cactus is native to the Argentina and Bolivia.  This is one of the "Old Man" Cacti that grow crazy white hair-styles resembling an Old an or Old Women.  Along with the cool hair-do, it is armed with thick spine that break through the woolly surface. This columnar cactus grows to about 20" in height and can produce many stems branching out at the base. Can withstand light frost, although best to keep it indoors when temps drop below 40F

Use a gritty soil amendment with your organic cactus mix.
