Cleistocactus Strausii

The Cleistocactus Strausii is a columnar cactus native to Blovia and Argentina.  This beautiful "Silver Torch" can reach heights of 10' tall and will branch in time.  The blooms are tubular in shape and magenta in color.  The blooms never quite fully open and will put on a short display of a couple days during the Spring and Summer months.  Very nice silver spines that make it look like it belongs in Narnia!   

Use a gritty soil amendment with your organic cactus mix.
