Aloe Variegata

The Aloe Variegata is native to South Africa.  This is a small Aloe that can get about 12" tall and form a nice size clump.  The flowers are bright orange and and rise from the center of the rosettes like mini fireworks!  This is simply a beautiful Aloe for any collection, with it's striking Tiger-like appearance.  This Aloe does change colors and seems to enjoy the shade rather than the hot Sun.  This species of Aloe is cold hardy to a low temperature of 20F, although we suggest protecting it from frost and bringing it indoors if temperatures drop below 40F.

Use a gritty soil amendment with your organic cactus mix.
