Aloe Ramosissima
Aloe Ramosissima
The Aloe Ramosissima is native to South Africa. This is a tree Aloe that stays very compact reaching heights of 4' with a vigorous branching growth habit. The succulent leaves can become very fleshy and thick, and during a drought can become thin and curve inward covering the rosettes, a sign of dehydration. The bloom-spike is not very tall reaching 8" high off the ends of the branches. The dozens of tubular yellow flowers are still quite impressive and usually appear in the winter months of December and January. This is a wonderful candidate for a Bonsai Aloe and will do well as an indoor specimen.
