Aloe Marlothii

The Aloe Marlothii "Mountain Aloe" is native to South Africa.  This is one of the Tree Aloes that can reach heights of 12' and usually develops one single stem or trunk with a huge rosette of lush leaves that can have a beautiful red tint depending on sun exposure.  The leaves are full of spines as a young plant and will become less so as it matures.  The bloom-spike can reach heights of 4' off the rosette and displays Red, Orange or Yellow flowers on multiple branches.  This is a very easy growing Aloe and loves full sun. 

Use a gritty soil amendment with your organic cactus mix.
