Aloe Dichotoma

The Aloe Dichotomo "Quiver Tree" is native to South Africa.  This species of Aloe grows quite large and develops many branches and towering over other Aloe species at 30' in habitat.  The bark can be sharp as is flakes with beautiful brown scaling.  Interesting fact.. This species is also nicknamed the Quiver Tree because the Sans People would hollow out the branches to make the Quivers that held their arrows.

Use a gritty soil amendment with your organic cactus mix.
