Thelocactus Conothelos ssp. Argenteus

Thelocactus Conothelos ssp. Argenteus is a Flowering Cactus native to Nuevo Leon, Northern Mexico.  This Globular, Single-Stem Cactus has Beautiful Silver Spines that cover the Green Epidermis almost completely.  This already stunning, Spiny Specimen grows to 6" in diameter and produces Vibrant Magenta Flowers during the Spring and Summer. 

Thelocactus Conothelos ssp. Argenteus is NOT Cold Hardy and should be kept indoors when Temperatures drop below 40°F.

Use a Gritty Soil Amendment with an Organic Cactus Mix.
