Mammillaria Parkinsonii - Owl Eye

Mammillaria Parkinsonii is a Flowering Cactus native to Central Mexico and can be found near el Rio Queretaro along the Border of the State of Queretaro.  This Interesting Mammillaria Species clumps in such a manner that it appears to have Eyes like an Owl.  Along with the Owl Eye Offsets, it Produces White Wool in between the Tubercles that adds to the Appearance.  The Flowers are Pink, Peach and Yellow and Form a Crown around the Top of the Stem.

Mammillaria Parkinsonii is NOT Cold Hardy and should be brought indoors when Temperatures drop Below Freezing. 

Use a Gritty Soil Amendment with any Organic Cactus Mix.
