Astrophytum Asterias

The Astrophytum Asterias is native to Texas, USA.  The "Star" cactus, as it is often called, is a small but neat little specimen worthy of any collectors window sill.  With huge yellow flowers that have deep red throats and an array of pedals!! Astrophytum can tolerate temperatures as low as 20F with the right acclimation. 

Use a gritty soil amendment with your organic cactus mix.
