Adenium Arabicum Thai Socotranum

The Adenium Arabicum Thai Socotranum is a Cultivar from Thailand, although the Adenium species itself is native to South Africa.  This particular Desert Rose is perfect for Bonsai Culture, as it grows a thick swollen trunk with a dense canopy full of lush foliage and early Pink Spring flowers.  This is typically a large growing plant in it's natural habitat, reaching heights of around 10' and a diameter of 5'.

This plant is drought tolerant and likes a grainy blend or well draining soil. Great indoor plant.  Keep above 50°F.
